Senior iOS Developer (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

Pearster is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to join a talented team supporting a leading Canadian technology company. The role is fully remote, allowing candidates from any LATAM country to work during EST business hours while building and scaling mobile applications used by over 15,000 businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance iOS applications primarily using Swift, modernizing existing Objective‑C components.
• Own mobile features from technical design through deployment and release.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable, user‑focused solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and incremental releases.
• Maintain high code quality through testing, code reviews, and best‑practice guidelines.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new iOS technologies, frameworks, and industry standards.
• Leverage AI‑powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor) to improve development efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building native iOS applications in production.
• Strong proficiency in Swift; Objective‑C experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of iOS fundamentals such as memory management, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent English and ability to work EST business hours.
• Based in any LATAM country.
