Senior iOS Engineer – Swift, MVVM, AI/ML

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications for its global clients. The role focuses on modern Swift development, clean architecture, and the integration of AI/ML capabilities, while working fully remotely within a collaborative Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Implement modern architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
• Integrate external APIs and backend services securely and efficiently.
• Apply asynchronous programming with Swift Concurrency (async/await, threading).
• Participate in design reviews and influence architectural decisions.
• Lead feature development end‑to‑end, from design through delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and act as a reference for the team.
• Contribute to AI/ML integration using Core ML or external LLM services.
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, mocking, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Scrum/Kanban settings.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and the iOS ecosystem.
• Solid experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
• Hands‑on experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.
• Deep understanding of Swift Concurrency (async/await).
• Proven ability to integrate APIs and backend services.
• Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities (Core ML, LLM APIs, etc.).
• Strong testing practices, including unit testing and automation.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) environments.
