Senior IT System Engineer – Azure Cloud & Servers

About the role

The Senior IT System Engineer – Azure Cloud & Servers role is responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing Microsoft Azure workloads, Windows Server environments and related cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate combines deep Azure expertise with strong knowledge of cloud security, networking and hybrid integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain scalable Azure‑based infrastructure, focusing on security, performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage Windows Server services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, SQL Server) and Linux servers in cloud environments.
• Execute cloud migrations, hybrid deployments and Azure Stack integrations.
• Implement disaster‑recovery, backup and high‑availability solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies; manage Palo Alto firewalls, Cato Networks and Aruba Cloud networking.
• Provide 2nd‑level support, create runbooks, automation scripts and mentor support staff.
• Collaborate with architecture teams on new solutions and participate in security audits and compliance assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially Azure VMs and hybrid environments.
• At least 5 years in IT infrastructure/cloud, including Windows Server (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, SQL) and Linux.
• Professional Azure certifications (AZ‑900, AZ‑104) are mandatory.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cato Networks and/or Aruba Cloud.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
