Senior Lawyer

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Lawyer to support its Innovative Medicine business in Latin America. The role will be based in either São Paulo, Brazil or Bogotá, Colombia and will provide comprehensive legal guidance across multiple functional areas.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business units on regulatory and intellectual‑property strategies, coordinating with global IP and litigation teams.
• Provide legal counsel to Centers of Excellence on vendor contracts, antitrust matters, and the use of artificial intelligence, ensuring compliance with local laws and privacy requirements.
• Support IBVTs with contracts involving healthcare professionals and vendors, and develop access strategies for pipeline products.
• Guide the Patient Solutions group on projects, policies, and procedures to meet applicable legal standards.
• Design and deliver training for regional teams on contracting, competition law, anti‑corruption, ethics and compliance.

Required profile

• Legal degree with a generalist background covering antitrust, IP, contracts, and regulatory law.
• Proven experience handling legal matters in LATAM for a multinational organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global legal, compliance and privacy teams.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex legal concepts to business stakeholders.
