Senior macOS Developer

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Senior macOS Developer to work remotely from Colombia. The role covers designing, developing, testing and maintaining macOS applications and components, and contributes to a modern authentication platform. The position requires 5+ years of software development experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain applications and components for macOS.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of a modern authentication platform.
• Develop and integrate authentication, identity and API-based capabilities.
• Implement Apple security best practices for macOS applications.
• Troubleshoot application, authentication, API and macOS issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, identity and architecture teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, debugging and productivity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience developing macOS and/or iOS applications.
• Knowledge of authentication technologies (SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, MFA).
• Understanding of Apple security concepts (Keychain, certificates, permissions, code signing, entitlements).
• Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, testing and Agile experience.
• Familiarity with AI, generative AI and LLMs.
• Excellent communication and advanced English; preferred: energy, oil & gas or large enterprise background.

• Strong understanding of SwiftUI, AppKit and/or UIKit
• REST APIs and backend integration
• Preferred: LocalAuthentication, Security.framework, CryptoKit, Jamf or Microsoft Intune, Apple Platform SSO, Passkeys/WebAuthn, Python/Bash/Zsh scripting
