Senior Manager Accounting

About the role

The Senior Manager Accounting leads a team of 10‑15 accountants and analysts across the Americas, overseeing financial management for all SITA entities in the region. This role also serves as the Group process owner for local accounting activities worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end GL closing for AMER entities, ensuring compliance with group policies and local regulations.
• Oversee preparation of local financial statements, VAT returns, corporate tax filings and coordinate tax matters with the AMER Tax team.
• Lead external and internal audit processes, providing documentation and resolving issues.
• Supervise local accounting activities, reconcile with the Group ledger and drive convergence across geographies.
• Drive process improvements, align with other GEO Senior Managers and act as Group Process Owner for local accounting.

Required profile

• 8+ years of accounting/audit experience in a multinational, Big 4 or shared services environment.
• Proven experience managing accounting teams and audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and local accounting requirements across multiple LATAM countries.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with a university degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIMA.
