Senior Manager, Country Finance Manager MedTech US & Abiomed Global

About the role

The Senior Manager, Country Finance Manager for MedTech US and Abiomed Global will lead the controllership agenda from Bogotá, overseeing financial reporting, close execution and governance for a complex regional and global portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own controllership of actuals, ensuring accurate, timely US GAAP reporting and compliance with company policies.
• Lead end‑to‑end close governance, including pre‑close readiness, trial balance review, cash‑flow analysis and final sign‑off.
• Translate financial results into actionable insights for Finance Directors, CFOs and business leaders.
• Partner with global finance leaders, tax, treasury, compliance and audit teams to resolve issues and strengthen controls.
• Drive simplification, automation and digital enablement across the portfolio, implementing sustainable solutions.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering inclusion, accountability and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
• CPA, CMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience with strong controllership and US GAAP knowledge.
• At least 5 years of people‑leadership experience building high‑performing teams.
