Senior Manager, Project Management

About the role

Accelya is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Project Management function in Bogota. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution, guiding a team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters to deliver complex, multi‑phase airline‑industry implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of Program Management and regional leaders to define and execute program strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale regional programs, ensuring quality, timeline, and budget compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters, fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, executive leadership, and cross‑functional teams to drive customer satisfaction.
• Represent the delivery team in Quarterly Business Reviews, Steering Committee meetings, and executive status updates.
• Implement and refine project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the portfolio, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Monitor project health, resource utilization, and financial performance, reporting regularly to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large project teams in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of successful client engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and operational excellence.
• Experience in the airline or transportation sector is a plus.
