Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

About the role

Visa is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead the procurement of materials, equipment, supplies and commodity products worldwide. You will ensure timely delivery, cost‑effective sourcing and alignment with Visa’s global payment‑technology operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end procurement of goods and services, forecasting supply needs and coordinating purchases across departments.
• Evaluate, select, monitor and maintain vendor relationships, performing detailed cost and performance analyses.
• Negotiate pricing, discounts and contracts, and approve purchases within authorized limits.
• Lead or participate in complex contract negotiations and recommend procurement policies and procedures.
• Monitor cost, schedule and performance of major sub‑contracts, ensuring compliance with Visa standards.

Required profile

• 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 7+ years with an advanced degree) in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven people‑leadership experience, managing and developing high‑performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering savings, process improvements and risk mitigation.
