Senior Manager, Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA)

About the role

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, solving strategic problems for clients such as issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments. As Senior Manager in the Core Consulting Practice, you will lead consulting initiatives, build a pipeline of analytic work and act as an analytics subject matter expert. At least 3 days per week must be spent in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting initiatives and help close engagements by identifying opportunities with clients
• Develop analytical frameworks, data-led strategies and scalable solutions, toolkits and standard methodology documents
• Produce insights and recommendations to improve client performance and provide strategic mentorship
• Oversee multiple workstreams and project delivery, meeting objectives and timelines
• Manage complex engagements and commercial priorities while balancing client expectations, resources and quality
• Translate data and analytics into strategic insights across the payments P&L
• Provide leadership, coaching and training to project teams and act as an analytics subject matter expert
• Take ownership of the commercial performance of the assigned portfolio, including pipeline development and engagement conversion

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in payments, financial services, consulting or a related field, with exposure to merchant acquiring, acceptance, cards or payments strategy
• Demonstrated strategy and management consulting experience, including leading complex engagements and building data-driven recommendations
• Strong commercial orientation and business development capabilities
• Experience in payments business areas such as portfolio management, marketing, product management, operations and risk management for credit and debit cards
• Knowledge of banking operations and/or payment schemes, and use of financial indicators to measure performance
• Preferred: bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
