Senior MES Consultant

About the role

The Senior MES Consultant leads the design, implementation and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) that support efficient, data-driven production. The consultant ensures system reliability, integrates MES with other enterprise platforms such as SAP and SCADA, and drives continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing principles.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise proper system operation, monitor performance and analyse operational accuracy
• Provide user support, resolve issues and handle service requests
• Train system users and create manuals and user guides
• Configure the system, fix configuration issues and eliminate causes of malfunctions
• Take part in implementation preparation, prepare and run system tests, and design reports
• Care for assigned equipment, tools and machines, and keep the workplace tidy
• Follow the company's integrated management systems, WCM requirements and health and safety rules, and carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required profile

• Master's degree in a technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven experience with MES systems (e.g. Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk)
• Preferred: regulated industry experience (pharma, automotive), ERP integration and data analytics familiarity, project management or leadership experience

Required skills

• Familiarity with SCADA, SPC, SAP and MES systems
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools in the context of IT systems
• Problem-solving, communication, multitasking and independent project management
