About the role
BairesDev is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to lead application modernization projects. You will work remotely with a global team, migrating legacy systems to modern PHP frameworks and ensuring high‑quality code delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Execute application modernization projects, migrating legacy applications to modern frameworks.
- Rewrite and refactor business logic from legacy codebases into modern PHP architectures.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth migration and integration.
- Deliver high‑quality code on tight deadlines while maintaining code standards.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in PHP.
- Hands‑on experience with CodeIgniter and Smarty templates.
- Hands‑on experience with Symfony and Twig.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
