Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Lead

About the role

GFT is seeking a Senior/Lead QA Engineer to drive quality across AI systems and securitization platforms in capital markets. The role is based in Colombia and works Colombia hours (COT, UTC-5), Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies for LLM‑based systems, including prompts, hallucinations, bias, safety and red‑team testing.
• Test RAG pipelines, vector databases, LangChain/LangGraph flows and MCP integrations.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for UI, API and backend components.
• Validate end‑to‑end securitization deal workflows and data reconciliation.
• Lead regression testing, defect triage and production support, and track quality KPIs.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in QA/quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Domain knowledge of securitization, capital markets or similar asset classes.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Test automation tools: Selenium, Robot Framework, Playwright.
• Programming languages: Java, Python.
• API automation, SQL data validation and reconciliation testing.
• CI/CD and DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitHub (or similar).
• Understanding of LLM architecture, LangChain/LangGraph, RAG pipelines, vector databases and agentic solutions.
