About the role
P&G is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA and technical direction for the PHC portfolio in Colombia and support quality operations across LADMAR. The role ensures product quality, regulatory compliance, and effective execution of quality management systems throughout storage, distribution, and market release.
Key responsibilities
- Lead QA and technical direction activities for the PHC portfolio in Colombia and across LADMAR.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, GMP, and Good Storage and Distribution Practices.
- Oversee product release and quality disposition for pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food products, medical devices, and diagnostic reagents.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, risk management, and documentation.
- Lead internal, external, supplier, and health‑authority audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Manage critical quality incidents, complaints, recalls, returns, and rejections.
- Monitor Quality KPIs and drive process improvements.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing, Sales, suppliers, 3PL partners, regional Quality teams, and health authorities.
- Provide quality guidance to business initiatives and projects.
- Lead and develop the Quality team, fostering a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Licensed Pharmaceutical Chemist with a valid professional registration for Technical Director responsibilities in Colombia.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical QA, technical direction, production, regulatory affairs, or quality control.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, GMP, Good Storage and Distribution Practices, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing deviations, CAPAs, audits, risk assessments, and product‑quality decisions.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make timely, risk‑based decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Advanced English proficiency.
