Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

The Senior Quality Engineer leads quality assurance strategies and ensures high‑quality software delivery across projects, driving test automation and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement QA strategies, processes and best practices.
• Define and oversee test plans, automation frameworks and test coverage.
• Drive test automation initiatives, selecting tools and frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid‑level QA engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and stakeholders to align on quality goals.
• Identify risks, dependencies and quality gaps, proposing mitigation plans.
• Define and track QA metrics, reporting progress and improvement areas.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes, tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience with strong focus on test automation.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and QA strategies.
• Strong knowledge of API, backend and frontend testing.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Advanced English level (B2+ or higher).
