Senior React Native Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to design, build, and maintain consumer‑facing mobile features for a global quick‑service restaurant brand. You will work on ordering, menu, cart, checkout, payments, loyalty, and store‑locator experiences across iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end‑to‑end mobile features using clean, well‑tested TypeScript.
• Integrate backend ordering, authentication, payment, fraud detection, feature‑flag, and analytics APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements and Figma designs into functional software.
• Conduct peer code reviews, ensure CI checks pass, and follow Agile ceremonies.
• Debug and resolve issues on both platforms using crash reports, native logs, and device builds.
• Write and maintain unit, component, performance, and end‑to‑end tests (BrowserStack).
• Support build and release pipelines, beta distribution, and production releases to App Store and Google Play.
• Document code, architectural decisions, and project notes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial background building cross‑platform mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript.
• Solid grasp of React Native architecture, Redux state management, navigation, performance optimization, and local storage.
• Experience with REST APIs and token‑based authentication flows.
• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) environments or a strong willingness to learn.
• Hands‑on experience shipping apps to the App Store and/or Google Play.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
