Senior RHEL Architect

About the role

The Senior RHEL Architect works independently to resolve complex, non‑routine technical requirements, applying creative solutions and independent judgment. The role leads the development and review of detailed task lists, guides multiple customer engagements, and mentors junior team members while ensuring alignment with functional and non‑functional goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and review of complex task lists, providing expert guidance on project scoping and alignment with customer objectives.
• Lead multiple standard engagements or work streams on complex projects, acting as a trusted advisor and influencing solution adoption.
• Guide pilot and production deployments of Red Hat solutions, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering professional development and consistent service quality.
• Proactively identify technical challenges and develop innovative solutions to mitigate risks.
• Champion the Red Hat Services Portfolio (Consulting, Training, Technical Account Management) and integrate it strategically into customer solutions.
• Provide customer feedback to internal teams to influence product and service enhancements.
• Lead internal initiatives that drive innovation, efficiency, and growth within the Services business.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in services solution architecture and consultative selling.
• Proven ability to gather and analyze complex functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Strong expertise in estimating level of effort (LOE) for technical tasks.
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat’s product portfolio and its application across diverse environments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations to varied audiences.
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior professionals.
