Senior SAP Basis Engineer

About the role

Amrize IT is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Engineer to join its SAP Applications Team. You will be the technical bridge between SAP platforms and business operations, ensuring the reliability, performance, and stability of the SAP landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP environments (ERP, BW, Solution Manager, CRM, Fiori, PI/PO) to guarantee optimal performance and availability.
• Monitor and maintain underlying databases, operating systems, and infrastructure supporting business‑critical processes.
• Coordinate technical activities across SAP platforms, infrastructure teams, external providers, and business stakeholders.
• Lead installations, upgrades, migrations, system refreshes, and routine maintenance.
• Participate in SAP cloud projects, integrations, and platform enhancements.
• Manage performance monitoring, incident resolution, and change management following ITSM processes.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and support audit requirements related to SAP operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience as a SAP Basis Administrator/Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP architecture across multiple modules.
• Proactive, curious, independent, and solution‑oriented mindset.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
