Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Inchcape Digital, part of Inchcape's global network, is looking for a Senior Security Engineer. You will implement, optimize and maintain security technologies that protect the business, working with Security, SOC, Threat, GRC and IT Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage technical security controls to strengthen Inchcape's cybersecurity posture.
• Administer and optimize security technologies, protecting against threats identified by SOC and Threat teams.
• Troubleshoot security issues and work with IT Operations to resolve incidents in line with SLAs.
• Ensure security solutions comply with standards and work with the GRC team on risks and non-compliance findings.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, procedures and reports on system availability, utilization and performance.
• Collaborate with SOC and Threat teams to identify, prioritize and implement security improvements.
• Mentor and support junior Security Engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering or related experience.
• Self-motivated, able to design and propose solutions with minimal supervision.
• Strong English communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR platforms.
• Experience managing email security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IPS/IDS, WAF and SASE technologies.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
