About the role

Our client, an enterprise technology platform supporting mission‑critical financial and workforce operations, is looking for a Senior SDET focused on either frontend or backend testing. The role will own quality across backend services and web applications.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain automation frameworks for API, web, and mobile layers.
Validate REST/GraphQL APIs, perform contract testing and verify service‑to‑service integrations.
Troubleshoot issues across API, UI, and data layers and drive root‑cause analysis.
Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.

Required profile

6+ years in software quality assurance, engineering or testing.
At least 2 years professional experience with Playwright.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript; Python or Java a plus.
Experience testing APIs with solid SQL/data validation abilities.
Proven ability to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of microservices and distributed system architecture.
