Senior Specialist – Next Gen Platform Consulting & Documentation

About the role

Mastercard is building a Next Generation Payments Network and needs a senior specialist to own the end‑to‑end documentation, packaging, and positioning of the large‑scale Next Gen platform and its derived products. The role sits at the intersection of technology, product management, and executive communication, ensuring the platform is understandable and consumable for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Create clear, structured documentation of the Next Gen platform, including playbooks, flow diagrams, capability maps, and reference materials for platform capabilities (access, auth/clear/settle, services) and flows (real‑time and batch).
• Package documentation into usable artifacts for products built on top of the platform such as immediacy and network expansion solutions.
• Identify non‑productized platform capabilities and highlight opportunities for future productization or commercialization.
• Capture and evangelize the Next Gen Network strategy, benefits, and roadmap to market‑facing stakeholders.
• Provide consultancy and solutioning to enable new product offers across rails, credentials, and regions.
• Channel feedback and required evolutions to the Next Gen Product & Platform teams.
• Leverage subject‑matter experts to deliver best‑in‑class support to markets and scale usage of network assets.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with strong experience in end‑to‑end documentation and platform consulting.
• Proven ability to work across technology, product, and executive communication functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Strategic mindset to define long‑term platform expansion and roadmap alignment.
