Senior Specialist Retail Trading

About the role

The Senior Specialist Trader supports in-season trading and allocation execution across Retail and Franchise channels, ensuring stock health, sell-through and margin optimization. The role focuses on data analysis, inventory flow coordination and in-season responsiveness, turning commercial plans into actionable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute store allocation and replenishment plans, ensuring the right product, size and quantity reach each store on time.
• Monitor daily and weekly sell-out performance and recommend corrective actions for overstock or stockout risks.
• Execute approved markdowns and price adjustments across channels, aligned with commercial strategy.
• Support distribution center-to-store, store-to-store and ship-from-store transfers to optimize stock levels.
• Maintain trading performance dashboards and weekly trading reports with accurate sales, inventory and margin data.
• Analyze product and size performance to identify top and slow movers, supporting reallocation, transfers and markdowns.
• Support in-season trading meetings and contribute to post-season analysis and future buy and allocation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Merchandising or Supply Chain.
• 2 years of experience in Retail Trading or Planning, preferably in sporting goods, fashion or consumer goods.
• Proven experience in data analysis, stock management or allocation in a retail environment.
• Advanced English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration.
