Senior Staff Accountant

About the role

SP6 is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to ensure accurate day‑to‑day accounting across three entities (SP6, ASCERA, and 112Cyber). The role is offshore, placed through a staffing partner, and requires close collaboration with the US‑based accounting team during Eastern business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and expenses, enter vendor bills in Microsoft Business Central, run weekly AP cycles and issue payments.
• Manage customer billing and collections, set up sales orders, prepare invoices, record payments and maintain AR aging.
• Support professional and managed services revenue recognition, review timesheets, and prepare related journal entries.
• Prepare month‑end journal entries, intercompany transactions, fixed‑asset depreciation, and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts for all three entities.
• Assist with payroll, commissions, tax payments, and related compliance tasks.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience supporting a US company.
• Degree in accounting or finance and solid understanding of US GAAP.
• Fluent written and spoken English with availability during US Eastern business hours.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Business Central (or similar ERP).
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Ramp, Avalara, Ariba or other billing portals.
• Experience with multi‑entity accounting and intercompany entries.
