Senior Systems Engineer

About the role

The Senior Systems Engineer will administer and support client operating system environments, ensuring high availability and performance. You will design automation, resolve escalated issues, and contribute to efficient datacenter operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain operating runbooks and coach junior engineers.
• Provide L2 troubleshooting for datacenter, WAN/LAN, and security incidents.
• Manage ticket queues, prioritize work, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Assist with client migrations, complex projects, and cloud/on‑prem datacenter deployments.
• Deliver recommendations to improve client environments and support sales opportunities.
• Produce monthly analytics on team performance and ensure compliance with Auxis processes.
• Provide technical training and stay current on relevant technologies.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Strong background with Microsoft Server OS, MS Entra ID, Linux, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Experience in large, complex server‑based cloud environments and documentation creation.
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.

• ITIL knowledge (ITIL 4 Foundations)
• English proficiency (B2+)
