Senior Technical Leader - ETL & Data Integration

About the role

ScotiaTech, a business unit of ScotiaGBS (a Scotiabank Group company) based in Bogota, Colombia, is looking for a Technology Lead with strong system integration, data integration and application development expertise. The person leads technical delivery of enterprise initiatives while keeping operations stable and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, implementation and support of enterprise technology solutions.
• Design, develop and support ETL solutions with Talend, covering data transformation, data migration, data quality and integration workflows.
• Take part in architecture definition and planning, aligned with enterprise standards, cloud strategy, DevOps practices and engineering best practices.
• Establish development governance, CI/CD practices and deployment standards.
• Mentor and coach team members and promote engineering excellence.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and support the stability of critical applications.
• Work with distributed teams across several geographies to deliver quality solutions on time.

Required profile

• Strong technical background and hands-on software development and solution design experience for enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Talend ETL, data integration and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis and troubleshooting data across multiple systems and interfaces.
• Experience supporting production systems and resolving complex technical issues.
• Fluent in English (B2) and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies across diverse stacks.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
