Senior Trainer / Associate Manager of Training

About the role

Teamhub Solutions Center is seeking a highly experienced Senior Trainer / Associate Manager of Training to support a growing international client partner. This is a long-term independent contractor engagement, fully remote, during U.S. business hours, with advanced English (C1). The role takes ownership of the entire training function, leads new-hire training across several business divisions and builds a scalable Learning & Development strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end training strategy, conduct training needs assessments and set priorities with Service Managers and senior leadership.
• Build standardized training processes, learning frameworks and performance measurement systems, and act as the main training point of contact.
• Lead new-hire training, design onboarding programs, run instructor-led and virtual sessions, and run assessments, knowledge checks and certification processes.
• Deliver refresher training, upskilling and performance improvement workshops.
• Design curricula, learning paths, facilitator guides, presentations and assessments, and adapt them to each department.
• Partner with Service Managers, coordinate with subject matter experts, present progress to senior leadership and manage multiple initiatives at once.
• Monitor KPIs such as completion rates, time to proficiency, assessment results and knowledge retention, and report on training effectiveness.
• Build the foundation of a scalable L&D function, set standards and support the hiring and development of additional trainers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in training, L&D or training operations, preferably in BPO, shared services, financial services or similar.
• At least 2-3 years in a Senior Trainer, Training Lead, Training Supervisor or Training Management role.
• Proven experience designing training strategies across departments and delivering new-hire training.
• Ability to influence Operations Managers, Service Managers and senior leadership, and to work independently.
• Advanced English (C1), written and spoken.

• Curriculum development, instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
• Measuring training effectiveness through KPIs.
• Preferred: LMS and e-learning implementation, ADDIE and Kirkpatrick models, learning analytics dashboards, and mentoring other trainers.
