Senior UI Artist

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Senior UI Artist to shape the visual identity of immersive digital experiences. You will work in a collaborative studio environment, partnering with designers and engineers to deliver polished, cohesive visuals across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Transform UX wireframes into high‑fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, design systems and style guides using Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Create finished artwork in Unreal Editor, including UMG setup, widget animation and material creation.
• Develop cohesive UI systems covering menus, HUD, iconography, shaders and motion work.
• Produce original material effects, 2D/animated visual effects and basic Blueprint scripting logic.
• Optimize UI assets for performance on PC, console and mobile while maintaining visual fidelity, accessibility and localization.
• Maintain organized UI asset libraries and up‑to‑date style guide documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on UI Artist experience, preferably in the games industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX visual design, texturing and icon creation.
• Proven ability to take a UI theme from concept to shipped implementation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with English fluency at B2 level or higher.
• Self‑driven, detail‑focused and comfortable handling high‑visibility areas.

• Blueprint scripting basics.
• Texture optimization, atlasing and real‑time UI performance techniques.
