Senior UI Artist (Unreal Engine 5)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Senior UI Artist to shape the visual identity of game user interfaces. You will work across PC, console and mobile platforms, turning design concepts into production‑ready UI directly inside Unreal Engine.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the UI aesthetic from concept through final ship quality.
• Convert UX wireframes into polished mockups, prototypes, design systems and style guides.
• Build UI art in Unreal Engine using UMG, Slate, widget animations and material‑driven effects.
• Develop shaders and materials in the Material Editor to ensure a cohesive visual theme.
• Maintain performance‑optimized UI assets for PC, console and mobile.
• Manage UI asset libraries, style guides and reusable components.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional UI art experience, preferably in games.
• Strong leadership and ownership mindset to drive UI themes end‑to‑end.
• Proven track record of shipped UI across multiple platforms.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Unreal Engine 5, UMG, Slate and Material Editor.
• Experience creating UI logic with Blueprint.
• Proficiency in Figma for mockups and design systems.
• Solid understanding of real‑time UI optimization, texture performance and atlasing.
