SEO Backlink Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Backlink Expert to join a digital marketing agency that serves medical and dental clients. The role is fully remote and focuses on acquiring high‑quality, white‑hat backlinks and brand mentions that boost organic visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Secure high‑quality backlinks and brand mentions on authoritative sites with genuine traffic.
• Conduct outreach to publishers, editors, bloggers, and website owners to build long‑term relationships.
• Execute targeted outreach campaigns for editorial placements, resource pages, guides, comparison pages, and similar content.
• Negotiate placement opportunities, pricing, and partnership terms with publishers.
• Evaluate websites for relevance, authority, traffic quality, indexing, and editorial standards.
• Collaborate with SEO and content teams to align link‑building efforts with overall growth strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, placements, and campaign performance.
• Prioritize quality, topical relevance, and natural editorial placements over sheer link volume.
• Stay up‑to‑date with white‑hat link‑building best practices and industry trends.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in link building, blogger outreach, digital PR, or editorial outreach.
• Proven track record of securing high‑quality, white‑hat backlinks through manual outreach.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of backlink quality, topical relevance, indexing, and SEO best practices.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency (preferably U.S.) and familiarity with the healthcare niche is a plus.
