SEO Specialist – Medellín (On-site)

About the role

We are looking for a forward‑thinking SEO Specialist to join our on‑site team in Medellín. You will combine solid traditional SEO expertise with cutting‑edge AI optimization techniques to keep our brand ahead of the evolving search landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to ensure brand visibility in AI platforms such as Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude.
• Implement AI Optimization (AIO) techniques, optimizing web architecture, structured data, and entity mapping for AI‑generated search results.
• Manage technical and content SEO tasks including internal linking, advanced schema markup, technical audits, Core Web Vitals, and semantic topic clusters.
• Automate SEO workflows using the latest AI tools for data analysis, content briefing, and technical auditing while maintaining quality.
• Monitor traditional organic performance via GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush and track next‑gen metrics like AI Share of Voice and brand mentions in generative answers.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on SEO experience delivering successful campaigns.
• Based in Medellín or willing to commute daily to an on‑site office.
• Strong understanding of next‑generation search concepts (GEO, AIO, Answer Engine Optimization) and how large language models consume web data.
• Agile mindset with a habit of staying current on weekly algorithm updates and AI advancements.
