SEO Specialist – Remote, Automotive Focus

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a remote SEO Specialist to lead strategy and execution for automotive client accounts. You will own the full SEO lifecycle, from research to implementation, and see the direct impact of your work on rankings and traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Drive organic traffic growth through on‑page SEO, advanced keyword research, technical optimizations, and site‑structure improvements.
• Analyze traffic and rankings using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Google Business Profile.
• Conduct internal linking, keyword cannibalisation diagnostics, competitor analyses and full website audits.
• Develop and execute Local SEO and GEO strategies to improve visibility in Google Maps and AI‑driven search results.
• Collaborate with SEOs, writers, designers and developers on experiments, client deliverables and continuous optimisation.
• Experiment with new SEO tactics, challenge industry consensus and share evidence‑based insights.
• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm updates by attending conferences and webinars.
• Work directly with clients, translate data into clear action plans and recommend optimal solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience with a proven track record of ranking pages.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity and a data‑driven approach.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and challenge assumptions when needed.
