Service Associate I, Warehousing

About the role

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting and stocking packages. It may use heavy machinery to complete tasks and involves performing other tasks as assigned. The employer is a Fortune Global 500 organization.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and stock inbound products; receive returns, count and confirm quantities, check condition and complete paperwork.
• Obtain orders and select products from the proper locations, then verify their accuracy.
• Stage and securely pack products, create shipping labels and paperwork to keep shipping data accurate in the warehouse management system.
• Arrange pickup of shipments, contact carriers and coordinate schedules.
• Palletize cases, wrap and load skids onto trailers; safely operate various power equipment.
• Handle products according to client procedures and government/compliance regulations.
• Respond quickly to customer inquiries, resolve problems and communicate service issues to the supervisor.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or international equivalent.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
