Skilled Trades Recruiter (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Sagan is an exclusive membership community for executives, founders and CEOs looking to hire international talent, connecting candidates from Latin America and other regions with US-based companies. This is an independent contractor position for a Skilled Trades Recruiter working remotely on US business hours, with the exact schedule confirmed during selection. The recruiter sources technicians and other skilled professionals for cooling, mechanical systems and critical infrastructure roles, combining full-cycle recruiting with active sourcing of passive candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Run full-cycle recruiting for HVAC, chiller and facilities technician roles.
• Identify passive candidates through targeted research and Boolean search.
• Build candidate pipelines for mechanical and critical infrastructure positions.
• Coordinate screening, interviews and candidate follow-up.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records and progress updates.

Required profile

• Full-cycle recruiting experience with HVAC, chiller, facilities or closely related technician roles.
• Demonstrated ability to find and engage passive candidates.
• Nice to have: experience using an applicant tracking system.
