Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role

A client is looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to own the agency's organic content strategy, turning existing creative assets into consistent, engaging social posts that build the agency's own brand. The role covers weekly content planning, scripting video reels, coordinating with the internal creative team and keeping a steady posting rhythm, working closely with the founder while handling day-to-day content independently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and script weekly video reel concepts using proven content formulas (hooks, benefits, pain-point messaging)
• Coordinate with the video and social media team across Latin America to schedule and run content production
• Repurpose assets from the existing content library
• Maintain consistent weekly posting schedules across platforms
• Brief UGC creators to produce authentic content aligned with brand messaging
• Create variations across four core content pillars
• Track patterns and trends to optimise engagement

Required profile

• Proven experience in video content strategy and scripting for social media reels
• Deep understanding of content formulas such as hooks, benefits and engagement triggers
• Ability to generate content ideas independently and explain their rationale
• Experience coordinating with creative teams and strong organisational skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Nice to have: UGC or talent sourcing experience, video production or agency experience, B2B service marketing or agency brand building background, automotive industry knowledge

What we offer

• Salary range of 3,230,000 to 3,450,000 COP
• Remote, full-time work, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Time, 40 hours per week
