Social Media & Operations Assistant (Remote, LATAM / South Africa)

About the role

A full-time, remote Social Media & Operations Assistant is sought for a Florida-based home services company (BBB A+ rated) that specializes in exterior home improvement and water management systems. The role focuses on creative social media content and backend operations, with no high-volume front-line phone calls. The position is open to candidates based in LATAM or South Africa, working Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST, at $1,300-$1,500 USD per month.

Key responsibilities

• Script, edit and produce short-form videos and static graphics from raw job site footage, and maintain a rolling content calendar
• Deploy real-time weather-triggered marketing campaigns and handle community engagement (DMs, comments)
• Organize client records, track unreached leads and keep data accurate in the Jobber CRM
• Coordinate operational logistics such as Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and use existing company SOPs
• Monitor the business owner's workload and help prioritize approvals and pending deliverables

Required profile

• 2-3+ years of experience in social media management, short-form video editing or digital executive assistance
• C1-level English with an accent-neutral accent, able to speak only English during the shift
• Assertive, proactive and able to manage upward and solve problems independently
• Preferred: experience supporting U.S. home services or construction businesses, and native or professional Spanish

Required skills

• Advanced Canva and CapCut (or equivalent professional suites)
• Portfolio of past video and design work
• Preferred: familiarity with Jobber CRM or similar field service software
