About the role

StoneX Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join its API & Middleware Group. The team builds scalable, low‑latency APIs, middleware services, and event‑driven systems that power critical financial‑market applications.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop high‑performance, low‑latency .NET services using the latest .NET Core and ASP.NET Core technologies.
Build and maintain micro‑service architectures and event‑driven pipelines (Kafka, Redpanda) with CQRS patterns.
Implement, test, and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring reliability under heavy load.
Conduct proof‑of‑concept experiments and evaluate new technologies for architectural review.
Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, design sessions, and agile ceremonies.

Required profile

Proven experience as a .NET engineer building high‑throughput, low‑latency systems.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
