Solution Architect – React Native Mobile

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Solution Architect to define and drive the end‑to‑end architecture for enterprise‑scale React Native mobile applications, starting with iOS delivery and followed by Android. You will set technical strategy, guide engineering standards and ensure alignment with platform, security and cloud requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own mobile architecture and technical strategy for iOS‑first delivery and Android rollout.
• Define engineering standards, design patterns and architectural guidelines for the mobile team.
• Design security, scalability and integration approaches for authentication, CMS and personalization features.
• Lead architecture reviews, drive technical decisions and partner with product and engineering stakeholders.
• Produce architecture diagrams, integration flows and technical documentation.
• Identify risks, dependencies and technical debt and drive mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• 7+ years of architecture or engineering experience in mobile or cross‑platform delivery.
• Proven leadership in solution architecture for enterprise‑scale applications.
• Strong communication skills to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency (B2).

Required skills

• React Native and Expo experience building and scaling production apps.
• TypeScript expertise within the modern JavaScript ecosystem.
• Mobile architecture knowledge across iOS and Android constraints.
• Cloud services experience with Amazon Web Services or equivalent.
• API integration skills for secure, scalable backend architectures.
• Okta authentication design experience.
• Headless CMS integration (e.g., Contentstack).
• CI/CD knowledge for mobile release management and pipeline design.
