Solution Architect – SAP Commerce Cloud

About the role

EPAM is seeking a Solution Architect specialized in SAP Commerce Cloud to lead technical delivery of cloud‑based commerce solutions. You will guide engineering teams, ensure high‑quality code, and collaborate with global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions and design implementations within SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Deliver technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with other development streams to create cohesive, integrated solutions.
• Support continuous integration and delivery processes with build engineers.
• Identify and drive improvements in architecture, processes, and team performance.
• Manage requirements gathering and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of project milestones and promote code quality and re‑usability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with J2EE, Java 8 and Spring Framework.
• Strong expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud, including workflows, tasks, jobs and process engine.
• Experience with SAP Commerce modules such as payments, checkout, order fulfillment, search & navigation, and storefront.
• Knowledge of SAP Commerce integrations and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with release strategy, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
