Solution Engineer

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a Solution Engineer who will partner with sales and channel teams to help customers adopt analytics, AI and ML on the Snowflake Data Cloud. The role blends technical expertise with business acumen to design and demonstrate solutions that accelerate data‑driven outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, emphasizing rapid AI innovation.
• Work hands‑on with prospects throughout the sales cycle, delivering value‑based demos, proofs of concept and guiding them from interest to actionable insights.
• Stay current on analytics, generative AI, LLMs and competing platforms to position Snowflake as the simplest path to enterprise AI.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, sharing field insights to shape platform enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven success in positioning data solutions that enable fast analytics and AI adoption.
• Experience with one or more modern data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Cloudera, BigQuery or open‑source projects like Spark, Trino, Cassandra or Hive.
• Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, translating complex concepts into business value.
• Hands‑on expertise with SQL and familiarity with Python or R for data science.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience.
