Sr. Finance Manager - Financial Analysis

About the role

Visa is hiring a Senior Finance Manager, Financial Analysis, who develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. The role performs technical analysis of present and future financial performance, prepares recommendations on financial plans, acquisitions, future requirements and operating forecasts, and carries out economic research on topics such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investment opportunities and the impact of governmental requirements. At least 3 days per week must be spent in the office, with the exact expectation confirmed by the hiring manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.
• Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
• Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
• Conduct economic research and studies on rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and the impact of governmental requirements.
• Support the preparation and analysis of operating metrics, using data to create process efficiencies, identify bottlenecks and initiate process improvements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
• Preferred: 9+ years with a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years with an Advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
• Experience in financial analysis, planning or accounting, and in preparing and analyzing financial plans and forecasts.
• Experience in economic research and in summarizing recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts.
• Preferred: audit, finance, accounting or statistical reporting experience; CPA preferred.

Required skills

• Digital fluency, including use of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.
• Preferred: advanced use of pivot tables, macros and formulas.
• Preferred: well-structured analysis to resolve complex business problems.
