Staff Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support key accounting functions, including month‑end close, fixed asset accounting, and capital expenditure tracking. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of U.S. GAAP and strong analytical abilities, thriving in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring general ledger accuracy.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.
• Review and process capital expenditure (CapEx) additions in line with company policies.
• Prepare monthly fixed asset and balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Track and analyze CapEx budgets versus actual spending, providing variance analysis.
• Analyze financial statements and investigate significant fluctuations.
• Support internal and external audit requests and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related roles.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and fixed‑asset accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• English proficiency at B2+ level preferred.
