Staff DevOps Engineer (Azure)

This role offers a senior‑level opportunity for a Staff DevOps Engineer to partner with industry‑leading clients, solve complex engineering challenges and drive scalable, resilient cloud solutions on Azure through automation and modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Symphony clients to design and deliver digital solutions that create business value.
• Lead architecture and implementation of enterprise‑level Azure infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish and track metrics and KPIs for DevOps effectiveness.
• Drive adoption of new technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high‑level system issues and incidents.
• Ensure security, compliance and reliability of cloud systems.
• Provide technical direction and mentor engineering teams.
• Represent the organization at industry events and align DevOps initiatives with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 8–10 years of DevOps experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in Azure cloud architecture and automation.
• Proven ability to design CI/CD pipelines and manage large‑scale deployments.
• Excellent communication skills and a consultant mindset.

• Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline configuration.
• Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Data workflow and ETL pipeline development.
• Monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.
• Security and compliance standards for cloud environments.
