Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

Wärtsilä is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join its Parts Coordination Management team in Bogotá. The role focuses on managing spare‑parts quotations, orders, and deliveries while ensuring high‑quality service for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for spare‑parts quotations, orders, deliveries, and non‑conformities.
• Coordinate quotes and orders according to internal procedures and local requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and handling instructions.
• Follow up quotes and orders with customers and sales teams to ensure timely execution.
• Liaise with sales on offering content, terms, and profitability.
• Provide 24‑hour off‑hour support for spare‑parts requests.
• Escalate issues using internal networks and promote knowledge transfer within the team.
• Build and sustain profitable customer relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent English (advanced) and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
• Experience in logistics or spare‑parts coordination.

Required skills

• SAP knowledge (preferred).
