System Architect – Backend Integration

About the role

CI&T is seeking a System/Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex back‑end software solutions for system integration in retail environments. You will work with a multicultural team across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA, communicating in English.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, high‑performance back‑end solutions that integrate multiple systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve integration efficiency and software quality, focusing on .NET.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, reliability, and security standards.
• Produce architectural documentation, including system diagrams, integration strategies, and SOA design patterns.
• Guide development teams in implementing designs, especially for SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide feedback throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software development and architecture experience, with a focus on scalable back‑end systems.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

• SQL Server database design and performance tuning
• Azure cloud platform for deployment and management
