System Developer – Java/JSP (Professional Services)

About the role

This position is part of the Professional Services department, reporting to the Projects Manager. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering custom software components for client projects, primarily using Java technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Projects Manager to define and specify custom project elements.
• Set up and configure the technical environment to support MUSINGWAY's software and bespoke development.
• Develop, test, and deploy custom applications, scripts, and database structures.

Required profile

• Microsoft MCSD certification.
• At least 1.5 years of commercial experience as a Java & JSP developer.
• Strong knowledge of web platforms, applications, and related technologies.
• Experience with open‑source solutions such as Linux, Apache, and Tomcat is a plus.
• Ability to specify project requirements and work collaboratively to refine them.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Well‑organized, presentable, and capable of managing own time effectively.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
