Tax Analyst

About the role

Diageo is hiring a Tax Analyst in Bogota to support the company's tax compliance obligations by managing and analysing general tax operations. The role requires strong technical knowledge of tax matters, analytical skills to spot potential risks, and proven experience meeting filing deadlines and compliance obligations. It suits a detail-oriented person with good communication skills who works well with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Magnetic Media in Colombia and working papers for provisional income tax payments, ensuring timely submission
• Prepare Annual Income Tax (ISR) working papers and support the final annual returns
• Compile and review transfer pricing information with local and global teams
• Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Review deliverables from external service providers and oversee month-end and year-end closing, including tax provisions and reconciliations
• Work with Finance, Accounting and Global Tax teams, and contribute to process automation and continuous improvement
• Prepare, review and issue withholding certificates, and reconcile PYA and OTP at corporate level
• Review compliance with internal controls and prepare tax account reconciliations

Required profile

• Certified public accountant; postgraduate studies in taxes desired
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• English level B1
• Strong technical knowledge of direct taxes (income tax, magnetic media)

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar, and Power BI / Power Query
