Tax Manager

About the role

British American Tobacco Colombia is seeking a Tax Manager to lead the design and coordination of the company’s tax strategy. The role will ensure compliance with business objectives while identifying opportunities to add value across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and coordinate the company’s tax strategy, aligning resources and priorities to meet business goals.
• Identify and implement tax optimisation opportunities that generate value for various business units.
• Provide specialised tax advice and ensure compliance with all fiscal obligations.
• Lead corporate tax processes, applying best practices and established standards.
• Prepare and supervise internal tax reporting and legal compliance documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement of tax‑related processes, tools, and systems.
• Monitor legislative changes, assess impact, and propose adaptation strategies.
• Support cross‑functional tax projects and act as a strategic business partner.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Law, Finance or a related field.
• Specialisation or certification in tax or fiscal matters.
• Solid experience in tax functions, preferably within multinational or consumer‑goods environments.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations and fiscal management.
• Proven ability to analyse and produce tax and financial reports.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
• Leadership experience managing high‑performance teams.
