Tax Preparer / Reviewer – U.S. Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced U.S. Tax Preparer and Reviewer to join our international team. The successful candidate will prepare and review a variety of U.S. tax returns, ensuring compliance and identifying tax‑saving opportunities for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual (Form 1040) and business (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065) U.S. tax returns.
• Manage engagements involving S‑Corporations and ROBS structures.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations, payroll entries, and adjusting journal entries using QuickBooks Online.
• Analyze financial data to uncover tax‑saving strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather documentation and address tax‑related inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2).
• Minimum 3 years of U.S. tax preparation experience.
• Strong knowledge of S‑Corporations and ROBS tax structures.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online.
• Preparation of Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
• Accounting fundamentals: reconciliations, payroll entries, adjusting entries.
• Familiarity with Drake Tax Software (preferred).
