Tech Support Specialist - Home Automation - IoT

About the role

Ezlo Innovation is looking for a Tech Support Specialist to join its fast‑growing smart‑home team in Medellín. You will provide expert assistance for IoT and home‑automation products, handling customer inquiries through multiple channels while contributing to continuous improvement of service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely technical support via email, phone, chat, forums and voicemail.
• Manage, prioritize and resolve support cases from start to finish.
• Document and improve internal knowledge bases and quality standards.
• Report, monitor and follow up on technical or operational incidents.
• Use specialized tools to monitor servers and participate in testing sessions.

Required profile

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (speaking, reading, writing).
• Technical or professional studies in ICT, development or related fields.
• At least one year of experience in technical support, help‑desk or similar roles.
• Availability to work on rotating shifts (6:00‑14:30 or 11:30‑20:00, Monday‑Friday) and occasional weekends.
• Proactive attitude, clear communication and a growth mindset.

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of IT concepts.
• Experience with IoT devices and platforms.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Server monitoring using specialized tools.
