Technical Product Manager - ViX CMS

About the role

TelevisaUnivision, a Spanish-language media company, is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead product strategy, development and execution for ViX's Content Management System (CMS). The role supports backend engineering teams and drives AI-powered platform transformation, combining product management, AI implementation, cross-functional collaboration and Agile delivery. The position is based in Bogota, Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap and prioritized backlog for the ViX CMS, focusing on AI-powered modernization.
• Lead the implementation of AI-powered workflows, intelligent automation and agent-based solutions to improve editorial processes.
• Evaluate and integrate AI technologies such as Gemini and Claude into products and business workflows.
• Partner with backend engineering teams to define technical requirements and support scalable integrations.
• Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and act as main contact for Content Editorial, Pricing, Marketing and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
• Coordinate initiatives with backend engineering, Google Cloud Platform, APIs and other integrations, and manage dependencies, risks and deliverables.
• Use Jira and Confluence to track progress and communicate priorities to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7+ years in Product Management, Technical Product Management or related technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience delivering product strategies, roadmaps and technical initiatives.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing AI-powered workflows, AI agents or intelligent automation in production, and integrating AI into existing platforms.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and with Jira and Confluence.
• Professional fluency in English; willingness to work in Bogota.
• Preferred: people management or technical team leadership experience, media/streaming background, CMS familiarity, technical documentation experience, and PMP or similar certification.

Required skills

• Strong technical foundation and ability to discuss complex topics with engineering teams.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform, and API integrations.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as Gemini or Claude.
• Analytical, problem-solving, prioritization and stakeholder management skills.
